Near to the most ancient market of Tashkent city - near Chorsu Square there is Hodji Akhror Valiy's mosque. In neighbourhood with a mosque there is madrasah Kukeldash. Mosque was constructed in the fifteenth century by sufiy Sheikh Hodji Akhror Valiy. He was legendary person concerning award of Nakshbandiya, and also the best-known public figure of times of Timurids ruling.
Building of mosque was repeatedly reconstructed. Up to the present time have reached only in primordial form fragments of designs and a planning basis. In the eighteenth century instead of main building already there were ruins, also gallery which settled down round a mosque yard was subject to destruction.
On means, allocated by Kazy Ziyauddin, galleries were reconstructed in hudjras. Further in 1888 there was carried out one more re-planning for which funds from imperial treasury were allocated. After that mosque received a name of "Narsm".
And already the mosque building was newly built up in 2003. Construction and furnish of mosque were conducted with application of the latest modern methods. Now Hodji Akhror Valiy's mosque looks festively and very impressively. It is visited by a great number of people.
